Wisconsin Lakes Curses

John's JournalBoM mentions two Indian Lake Curses in Wisconsin, the first is Lake Wingra (also known as Dead Lake); the last Indian to leave Lake Wingra said that it would die - and it did, shrinking dramatically over the next 50 years. The second is Lake Mendota; the spirit of a murdered Winnebago Indian haunts Lake Mendota, killing two white people every year.
