The Colt
The Colt Patterson .31 or .36 caliber was the first model revolver Samuel Colt ever made, circa 1836-1847. Originally made as strictly percussion/cap-n-ball, this one has been converted to take metal cartridges. The Colt was created under special circumstances and originally only had thirteen bullets, once the original thirteen were used new ammunition was made by Bobby Singer with the help of the demon Ruby in 3.04 Sin City. After 5.10 Abandon All Hope... the Colt would go missing, later to be revealed in the possession of the Prince of Hell Ramiel in 12.12 Stuck in the Middle (With You), who received it as a gift from Crowley soon after Lucifer's defeat. Mary Winchester would go on to recover the Colt for the British Men of Letters. After the Colt was revealed to Sam, he made new ammunition to kill the Alpha Vampire. After a run-in with Dagon, the Winchesters came into possession of the gun once more. After the Colt was melted by Dagon before she was killed, Sam was able to recover the remnants of the Colt with the hope that he can fix it.

Knives and Other Blades

There are at least three machetes in the trunk of the Impala, as well as several smaller knives. Both boys also carry pocketknives. Dean sharpens his pocketknife using a whetstone.

The first time we see Ruby in a fight, she uses a large knife that is able to kill other demons. Bobby had never heard of this weapon before, and it is unclear where Ruby got it from. When Ruby tried to kill Tammi in a fight, she lost the knife and Dean used it. [Question: when was the last known appearance of Ruby's knife?]

  • Dean's Muela Bowie Knives

Dean uses two bowie knives made by the Muela of Spain knife company. One is their Alcaraz bowie, the other is a Muela bowie customized with a stag pommel rather than the standard brass.

  • Ceremonial Dagger
  • Battleaxe
  • Pocket Knife (Dean)

Dean carries a Kershaw Ken Onion Storm II with a partially serrated blade. These knives are no longer produced.

  • Shuriken (Star Knife)
  • Throwing Knives

Shapeshifter Dean uses a Boker Magnum Bo-Kri throwing knife to kill one of the SWAT officers before escaping. Pastor Jim throws a throwing knife at Meg, but she catches it and is not harmed.

  • Tasers
    1. 1.12 Faith. In the episode Faith, we see the boys using tasers to stop the creature. The taser fires small dart-like electrodes that are attached to the gun with wires. An electric current is then sent down the wires. Like all electricity, the charge from the taser is easily conducted in water, which is what damaged Dean's heart.
