The Colt<br>
 +
The Colt Patterson .31 or .36 caliber was the first model revolver Samuel Colt ever made, circa 1836-1847. Originally made as strictly percussion/cap-n-ball, this one has been converted to take metal cartridges. The Colt was created under special circumstances and originally only had thirteen bullets, once the original thirteen were used new ammunition was made by Bobby Singer with the help of the demon Ruby in 3.04 Sin City. After 5.10 Abandon All Hope... the Colt would go missing, later to be revealed in the possession of the Prince of Hell Ramiel in 12.12 Stuck in the Middle (With You), who received it as a gift from Crowley soon after Lucifer's defeat. Mary Winchester would go on to recover the Colt for the British Men of Letters. After the Colt was revealed to Sam, he made new ammunition to kill the Alpha Vampire. After a run-in with Dagon, the Winchesters came into possession of the gun once more. After the Colt was melted by Dagon before she was killed, Sam was able to recover the remnants of the Colt with the hope that he can fix it.

Beretta 92FS
9mm, standard with 15-round magazine. All black, very close to stainless Taurus Model 92.

The Colt

Colt M1911A1
Dean's main handgun is a Colt M1911A1 with an engraved slide and ivory grips. It is .45 caliber (.45 ACP), standard with 7-round magazines. This particular gun features ornate engraving, and is either stainless steel or nickel-plated, features found only on civilian models. Used in the following episodes:

Smith & Wesson 586

Smith & Wesson 4505

Taurus PT92AFS
Sam's main handgun is a Taurus Model 92 9mm, standard with 17-round magazine. Stainless version with mother of pearl grips. Used in the following episodes:

Desert Eagle Mark VII

Walther P99AS

Taurus Judge
The Taurus Judge revolver is shown to be Sam's main gun when using witch-killing bullets, and is typically stored in the Impala's trunk. Used in the following episodes:

Rifles

Bolt Action Rifle

Browning BLR 81

Heckler & Koch HK91

Heckler & Koch HK91A2

Knight's Armament Revolver Rifle

Winchester Model 1886

Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" Carbine

Knives and Other Blades

There are at least three machetes in the trunk of the Impala, as well as several smaller knives. Both boys also carry pocketknives. Dean sharpens his pocketknife using a whetstone.

The first time we see Ruby in a fight, she uses a large knife that is able to kill other demons. Bobby had never heard of this weapon before, and it is unclear where Ruby got it from. When Ruby tried to kill Tammi in a fight, she lost the knife and Dean used it. [Question: when was the last known appearance of Ruby's knife?]
