Tarot Cards

A special system of fortune telling using a special pack of seventy-eight cards that consists of four suits of fourteen cards together with twenty two picture cards.

Pad of Definitions, (1.12 Faith), Official Website

The [Tarot] card used in Faith, appears to be [The Hierophant] or Pope card (I was unable to read the text underneath, someone with a high-rez copy of Faith may want to double check at approx. 22 minutes along). I don't recognise the deck - the artwork is reminiscent of the Visconti decks, although the skull head may have been digitally added on? The Hierophant represents the practical advice and wisdom of a Priest or Pope like figure, and authority on a religious/spiritual level, although in modern times, it can imply slightly negative overtones of attachment to dogma, and rigidity.
