Tammi is a black-eyed demon, but appears to be more powerful than other black-eyed demons. Similar to Azazel, she can pin both Sam and Dean to the wall, and use her power to kill at a distance - killing the witches of the coven by slicing the wrists of Janet Dutton, snapping the neck of Renee and stopping Elizabeth's heart. She causes internal bleeding in Dean, similar to that seen in 1.22 Devil's Trap.
She reveals that when Ruby was human, she was a witch who sold her soul to her. As a demon, Ruby served Tammi.
In 3.09 Malleus Maleficarum she has motivated a group of women to dabble in witchcraft, for what they think are simple gains, but in reality they have sold their souls to her.
She is killed by Dean using Ruby's Knife.
