Talk:Dean's Mustang

Moved from entry to discussion page: The '65 Mustang, particularly those designed by Carroll Shelby, only came in one color, Wimbledon white with Guardsman blue stripes. Unlikely this Mustang is a '65 model.

Actually it could be an actual '65 Shelby Mustang Fastback and have Black with Gold stripes possibly. Hurst made a few old mustangs I believe that were retro fitted to their liking. I do not know if they did it back in '65 but Hurst made an 2010 Hurst Mustang. True but I actually made a little progress about the Mustang it may have been an actual Hertz Mustang if they gave us a few sideview photo shots it would make it a little easier. I found research on Hertz buying up '66 Mustang GT and converting them into Hertz Mustang as as I believe it is also known as an 1966 Shelby GT350H. I am not sure if they had any made in '65 though. You also bring up an great point that it could just have been repainted. But, I am not sure.. I mean Kripke seems to be an car nut so maybe he knew that people would want to do some digging around and make replica cars? Just wishful thinking I mean that car looks pretty BA even you have to admit. Rather if it is or is not an Hertz Mustang though does not matter like I said reguardless it is pretty BA!!!

Who knows maybe someday Kripke , Rober Singer, or someone from the cast who might know or have some insight help us let and let us know I was just curious and was throwing ideas out. All that I am saying is that just because, it is not White with Blue strips does not make it an Shelby Fastback... and just because it is Black with Gold strips does not make it an Hertz Shelby Mustang, like EllieMurasaki said it could have just been an '65 Shelby with an Black and Gold paint job. All I am saying is I am curious and I would like to know. So if anyone can give some incite or an answer that would be nice!!!! Whitegs 20:12, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
