Cambion's Power

I rarely find anything to nitpick about Supernatural (except maybe their take on werewolves), but the Cambion is something that baffles me a little. I'm not sure why the writers decided to depict the Cambion being so powerful that it can "destroy the entire host of Heaven with a single word". It is the spawn of a demon and a human, after all. Two beings that are rather low in the celestial foodchain. You would think that although Cambions are notorious for being more powerful than their parents, they wouldn't have the power to match an archangel, for example. Speaking of lineage, humans are considerably weak compared to practically anything else out there, even ghosts. We're constantly the victims whenever these creatures/beings emerge, so how does the blending of a human and a demon produce anything other than a watered down variant of the latter? I wonder what Kripke's take on the Nephilim is, taking the Cambion into account. Charon 21:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

I think the same way. I compare it to evolution. The demon when cross-breeding with the human will pick up the strengths and weaknesses. Same thing happens with plants due to cross-pollinization. I think the offspring of a demon and a human would be stronger than a human but weaker than a demon.--Frankrizzo51 22:17, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Re-Visit

The Cambion is a storyline that definitely needs to be revisited. A being this powerful should have his day in the sun (so to speak) on Supernatural. They have showed my favorite character "Death" a few times so the Cambion needs to make a return. Possibly for a titan on titan fight with another big bad? I don't know but dont let this character slip by the wayside.
