So far, in season 6, it looks like Samuel and Sam are trying to capture the alphas for some reason.

Personally, it would be very interesting to find out how many Alphas are out there because the show itself has only mentioned and or showed four of them, and if in fact there are only four, to me, that would kind of 'mirror' God's four Archangels, proving the background resemblance of God and Eve.

Was Ryan Miller a Jefferson Starship? I didn't think he was. My impression was the Jefferson Starships were Eve's experiments at hybridizing different traits from different monsters, but they weren't complete or stable. When Dean named then the whole bar full of them were already dead. I think Ryan was a result of fixing the mistakes Eve did on the Starships, and therefore different (still an Alpha of...something, but not a J.S.). --Staxeon 03:37, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

What happened to him was so different from the JSs that I perceived him as a separate subspecies. He predates the starships, and I think one of the characters referred to him as a shapeshifter-esque mutant. Eve may have abandoned his type of mutation when the starships became promising. --MisterGlass 02:08, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Now you have me wondering and I'm going to have to rewatch the episode. It was my impression that Ryan was the culmination of the starship experiments, not visa versa. I figured since they passed Sam and Deans "dozens of tests" (assuming salt, holy water, silver etc.) that Ryan and his brother were Eve's final phase of...something. Either way, if he's a separate subspecies or the final phase, he's not the starship Alpha. I feel starship alpha should be removed from this page, I don't think they established one and if they did the first was actually the weakest and died quickly (pretty much the opposite archtype of the other established Alphas). --Staxeon 01:42, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
