JENSEN'S PROJECTS
- Jensen, Danneel and their production company Chaos Machine have a deal with Amazon which covers both producing and acting. It was reported that the projects in the works at Warner Brothers will continue there.
- Following charges being dropped against Alec Baldwin, the film Rust has resumed filming. Filming stopped 18 months ago when cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured during an on-set incident with a gun. Jensen is part of the cast that has returned to finish the movie. Alec Baldwin stated that finishing the film was part of the settlement with the family of Halyna and that funds raised from it would go into a trust fund for her son.
JARED'S PROJECTS
 Jared and Gen on The Talk- Jared and Gen have done a number of appearances in the last week promoting the last few episodes of Season 3 of Walker. You can watch some of their appearances below. They have also recorded an episode Celebrity Family Feud. His team includes Gen, Charlie Capen (from bemomentus and GISH), Michelle (Stands) and Jared’s friend Anson Gordon.

MISHA'S PROJECTS
- RoadFood has achieved the great honour of being nominated for a daytime Emmy. In celebrating the nomination, Misha said they would start filming Season 2 later this year.
- According to FlixPatrol Gotham Knights is currently (29/4) the fourth most popular TV streaming on Max. It has had fans in a lather due to Misha's sex scenes who have dubbed him Zaddy Dent! The future of the show is uncertain, so fans have mobilized in a campaign to get the show renewed. You can find out how to get involved at the Renew Gotham Knight's Twitter and their website. They have already placed billboards across the country and started a postcard campaign to the network and studio. A really incredible effort by fandom!

NEWS AND INTERVIEWS
The Writers Guild of America began a strike on 2 May, 2023. The strike is about the amount of money TV writers get paid and about how the structure of the industry has changed and how that is affecting both writing as a career, and the shows it produces. What does a strike mean? Writers can’t work on any current projects with studios, or take meetings about current or future projects.
The last writers Strike was in 2007/08, and you can read about it at and how it impacted Supernatural at our Writers Guild of America Strike entry. Video on demand and streaming services were in their early stages, Netflix started its streaming service in 2007. That strike was particularly focused on remuneration related to residuals from DVDs and also payment conditions for the new digital media and requirements to employ WGA writers.
TV writing has now almost become part of the gig economy. The breakdown of the writing career path in TV both stops writers advancing in their learning and career, and also means people with little experience end up as show runners. Income becomes lower, and unpredictable.This particularly disadvantages writers who are not from wealthy backgrounds, and so often disproportionately further excludes not only working class, but often other marginalized groups as well.

- Louden Swain is embarking on a tour including Rockwood as well as England, Northern Island, and Scotland .
