News and Interviews
- Jared talks wellness and travel products with THR
- Jared did a long (over 2 hours!) podcast with Justin Wren, which you can listen to and watch here. Jared talks about recovering from having COVID, and goes in depth about dealing with his own mental health issues. bullying and going back to film Walker under COVID restrictions.
- Misha speaks to Bob Garfield on his podcast “Influencer” (you need to sign up for a free account to watch)
- Production Designer Jerry Wanek talks decorating haunted houses with House Beautiful, and on their podcast Dark House.
- Check out Cast Podcast Appearances for podcast appearances from all your favourite cast members.
- Richard Speight posted a great image of him from his new movie, a Western called Old Henry.
- It's a Supernatural reunion as Ruth Connell appears as the Night Nurse in episode 3 of Jeremy Carver’s Doom Patrol written by Steve Yockey. Another different take on superheroes, Doom Patrol follows a group of people who all got their “powers” through some sort of trauma. The show is wonderfully weird and has a lot of heart.
- The trailer for Season 3 of Sera Gamble’s twisted serial killer show You has dropped.
- Jenny Klein has been named as showrunner for The Thing About Pam based on a 2011 murder and wrongful conviction that has featured on many true crime podcasts.
- Andrew Dabb has secured an eight episode order from Netflix for a series based on the comic Grendel and will star Abubaker as the masked vigilante.
- Jake Abel appears in James Wan’s new movie Malignant, and hopefully we will see more of him on the big screen. If you are a horror fan, this film is for you as it manages to be an homage to many sub genres at the same time as being very original.
- Suicide Squad 2 owes a lot to the New 52 Suicide Squad series which Adam Glass wrote for, in particular his take on Harley Quinn. There’s a great interview with Adam about his comics work here, with a brilliant young fan with a lot of passion and knowledge. And I take it as a sign as the enduring OTP that is Robdam, that Robbie Thompson is now writing Suicide Squad. You can read a review of the latest book here. You will love Ambush Bug!
