NEWS AND INTERVIEWS Bridget Reagan, known for her roles as Posion Ivy in Batwoman and Rose Solano in Jane the Virgin, has joined The Winchesters in a recurring role as DJ Rockin' Roxy is described as broadcasting "a wicked new sound" and having "an electric charm and a rapidly growing fanbase" although apparently not all of her fans are "of the human variety". At Jus In Bello Italy August 2022 Jensen said he was hoping to direct an episode later in Season 1 if his other committments allowed. At Salute to Supernatural Orlando 2022 , Jensen commented on the show and Robbie Thompson creating a queer character in Carlos for #TheWinchesters and says he can't wait to see what Jojo Fuentes does with him: "They are very talented". He also said "I'm excited to see what you guys think of the twists...don't think that we're just tossing away 15 years of established story. It's just how we're going to get to it may not be how you expect it." He related that in his Meet and Greet a fan had commented that John had not been aware of hunting, and he had replied "Oh, we're aware." Drake Rodger talks about playing John Winchester. Jensen and Misha toast with "apple juice" at Jus In Bello Italy August 2022 NEWS AND INTERVIEWS We first heard that Kripke was possibly adapting Neil Gaiman's Sandman for television. After the Netflix version premiered in August 2022, Gaiman was asked about Kripke's version. Gaiman said "It was a terrific network TV version of Sandman. But when you make a network TV version of Sandman you lose an awful lot of what makes it Sandman. @therealKripke did a great job considering the limitations." Kripke responded with "Kind of you, sir. WB gave me a crack at #TheSandman but said it had to be network. It was my fave comic, inspired much of #SPN, so I tried. Neil was kind and patient but ultimately, it would've been a bad show. I'm glad he held out. Sandman on Netflix is lush, stunning. GO WATCH!" Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join Season 4 of The Boys.
