History

Sheriff Osborne and his officers arrest Sam and Dean for the crimes committed by Leviathan!Sam and Leviathan!Dean. He comes to believe in Leviathans and helps the brothers before being killed by Valente.

Leviathan!Sam and Leviathan!Dean have gone on a killing spree to expose the Winchester brothers. Now on the FBI's most wanted list, the brothers are apprehended by Sheriff Osborne in Ankeny, Iowa. He is not inclined to believe the two suspected murderers' stories, but does grant Dean his one phone call. Dean uses the sheriff's phone on speaker to call Bobby for an update. Bobby gives him a gruesome method to stop the leviathans that disgusts the sheriff, who cuts the call off.

When the sheriff is leaving the cell area, he sees a leviathan eating one of his men. He retreats quickly and releases Dean, who instructs him to find products containing borax. Dean delays Leviathan!Sam long enough for the sheriff to douse the creature in cleaning fluid before Dean beheads it. After Leviathan!Dean is also decapitated, the sheriff lets Sam and Dean go. Osborne covers up for their disappearance by claiming they are dead to the FBI, and that he had the bodies cremated. His daughter, the medical examiner, supports the lie.

The FBI leave, but Agent Valente returns. He is a leviathan in disguise, and kills both the sheriff and his daughter.
