Samifer is a portmanteau made up of Sam and Lucifer. It arose in fandom after 5.04 The End, when Dean is in 2014 and encounters Lucifer possessing Sam, following Sam's assent to be his Vessel in Detroit. Lucifer is known for his heavenly beauty. Sam is Lucifer's true vessel. Sam's appearance slightly resembles Lucifer's in biblical lore; in some text Lucifer is describe as having long beautiful hair (Sam's Hair) and his physical appearance is very beautiful.
