The Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award is an award presented annually by the Classic Horror Film Board to honor the top works in horror in film, television, home video, and publishing. Voted on by the general public, the award is designed to recognize research, scholarship and creativity in keeping classic horror, science fiction and fantasy alive and thriving.


2009

  • Supernatural was nominated in the "Best Television presentation" for 4.03 In the Beginning. It was the runner-up in the category to an episode of Doctor Who.

2010

  • Supernatural was nominated in the "Best Television presentation" for 5.04 The End, but did not place.

2011

2012

  • Supernatural got an honorable mention in the "Best Television presentation" for 6.17 My Heart Will Go On. The category was won by The Walking Dead, with Doctor Who and American Horror Story runners up. source.
