Series Announcement
On September 24 2011, Deadline announced that a drama written by Kripke and to be developed by J.J. Abrams had gotten a pilot production commitment from NBC. The series called Revolution is described as an epic adventure thriller to be produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot production company and Warner Bros. TV. Abrams, Kripke and Bryan Burk are executive producing. J.J. Abrams is a writer, producer and director know for TV series including LOST, Felicity, Alias and Fringe as well as the Star Trek reboot movie, Super 8 and Cloverfield.
