History
Purgatory Weapons are axe-like blades found in Purgatory. These weapons are capable of decapitation. The blades are fashioned out of obsidian and the handles are made up of bone, wood, or horns. They appear to have been used mostly by vampires, and it has been shown to be the weapon of choice for both Dean and Sam Winchester during their two separate excursions in Purgatory; as well as the vampire Benny Lafitte.
