History
Pamela was a powerful psychic and an old friend of Bobby's. She has a tattoo on her lower back, saying "Jesse Forever" - when Dean asks her about it she claims that "it wasn't forever." She flirted with both Sam and Dean and repeatedly commented on the firmness of Sam's ass.
Sam and Dean asked Pamela to help them astral project in order to track down reapers.[1] While watching over their defenseless bodies, Pamela was fatally stabbed by a demon. Her soul left her body, arrived in Heaven, and is currently reliving and experiencing her happiest memories.[2]
Episodes
4.01 Lazarus Rising
Bobby brings Sam and Dean to Pamela, a close friend of his. In an attempt find out what rescued Dean from Hell, Pamela conducts a seance, hoping to get a glimpse of the creature. During the coarse of the seance, Pamela commands the being to appear before her, learning its name is Castiel, she is warned by it, but tells him that she does not scare easily and continues on trying to make him manifest before them. Bobby suggests to Pamela that they stop, but headstrong, Pamela continued telling Bobby she almost has it and upon telling Castiel to show her his face the candles flare up several feet in the air and Pamela begins to scream as her eyes fly open and are filled with a white-hot flames causing her to collapse.
4.10 Heaven and Hell
Sam and Dean call on Pamela, now blind and wearing white artificial eyes, to help unravel Anna Milton's past. With Pamela's help Anna remembers that she was once an angel who chose to rip out her grace to become mortal. Given her experience with Castiel, Pamela is unnerved at being around an angel and leaves.
4.15 Death Takes a Holiday
Sam and Dean once again enlist Pamela's help to cross into the spirit realm by astral projection so that they can find out what happened to the reaper in Greybull, Wyoming that has disappeared. While keeping vigil over their bodies, Pamela is attacked and stabbed by a demon. She manages to pull Sam back into his body, allowing him to exorcise the demon.
As there are no reapers available to take her, Pamela is not initially killed by the stab wound, but when Tessa is freed from Alastair's ritual, Pamela soon dies. After saying that they should tell Bobby to go to Hell for introducing her to the Winchesters, with her last breath Pamela warns Sam that what he is doing with his powers is not good, whatever his intentions.
5.16 Dark Side of the Moon
In Heaven, Ash brings Pamela into his memories to reconnect with Sam and Dean. Pamela has her eyes back, and tells Dean that Heaven isn't so bad, revealing her personal Heaven is one long show at the Meadowlands and reminds him that "the attic is better than the basement" despite Dean's assertion that none of it is real. Pamela goes on to tell him that she knows Michael wants him to be his vessel and reminds him that worst case a lot of people die and but will end up in Heaven, and tells Dean to think about it.
7.07 The Mentalists
In Lily Dale, a town full of psychics, some real, some fake, Dean mentions Pamela, saying, "When was the last time we saw a real psychic? Pamela? Missouri?"
14.10 Nihilism
When Dean is trapped in his mind by Michael, he owns a bar with Pamela where they live in a looped existence where a realtor tries to get Dean to sell the bar, the two have drinks and then fight off two revenge-seeking vampires.
After getting into Dean's mind, Sam and Castiel are shocked to find Pamela as she is long-since dead. After Dean is reminded that Pamela was blinded by seeing Castiel's true form, Pamela suddenly becomes blind after Dean experiences a flashback of it before Sam reminds Dean that Pamela was killed by a demon. Dean remembers her death and Pamela, having only been a complex figment of Dean's imagination, disappears from the bar.
