History
Mr. Brennan is a watchmaker whose working life is threatened when Parkinson's disease causes tremors in his hands. His grandmother believed in fairies and left him a spell book that he uses to summon a leprechaun.
The Leprechaun promises him workers in exchange for being able "to take of the fruit and fat of the land." This results in a number of firstborn sons in the town being abducted, including Mr. Brennan's son, Patrick.
Sam and Dean eventually learn the truth, but when Mr. Brennan tries to banish the fairies with Sam's help, the Leprechaun appears and kills him.
