- In 2.18 Hollywood Babylon, there is a character who is a producer called McG. The real McG can be seen standing behind Sam and Dean in the scene where the crew is listening to faux McG
- McG originally directed film clips, before directing the immensely successful Charlie's Angels remakes.
- He's also known for production the reality TV show "Search for the Next Pussycat Doll" (2007), which Sandra McCoy once took part in.
