Born Joseph McGinty Nichol, McG served as executive producer on Supernatural from seasons one through seven through his production company Wonderland Sound and Vision. For seasons eight and nine, McG has taken on the reduced role of executive consultant.
McG started life as a music video producer and has since produced and directed TV series and movies including the Charlies Angel's series, Terminator: Salvation, The O.C., and Chuck. McG also produced the reality TV show Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll in 2007, which Sandra McCoy once took part in.
