History
Mars Neto was a Celtiberian deity based on the Roman god Mars. Realizing the threat of the Akrida in 1972, Neto began looking for a soldier to sharpen into a powerful weapon for the war to come.
Characteristics
Powers and abilities
- Conjuration – Neto is capable of conjuring up weapons.
- Healing – By touching his spear to John Winchester's arm, all of John's wounds and scars were healed.
- Immortality - As a Celtibrian god, Neto is thousands of years old.
- Invulnerability - Neto is connected to his amphora, so long as it remains intact, he cannot be killed.
- Pyrokinesis – Through channeling his power, Neto can make the tip of his spear burn searing hot.
- Super strength and agility - As a god, Neto's strength and agility far exceed that of a human.
Weaknesses
- Destruction of his amphora – If Neto's amphora is destroyed, the link to his immortality on Earth is destroyed, and he is rendered mortal. It also appears to be the source of his other powers as Neto was significantly weakened from its destruction, not just rendered mortal.
