Loki was a Norse demigod and a trickster, who drew the ire of his family and was chained to a rock up in a cave in the fjords, where a snake dripped venom onto his eye. A few thousand epochs ago, Loki was freed by [[Gabriel]], indebting Loki to the [[archangel]]. When Gabriel was looking to escape his family's squabbles, the two struck a deal wherein Gabriel would assume Loki's identity while the real Loki would go into hiding, on the one condition that Gabriel not involve himself with the archangels ever again. ==Characteristics==Loki is seen wearing a brown suit and hat. He carries around a case with different flavored lollipops. According to Gabriel, whenever he comes to a town, he finds the worst hotel and uses illusion work to transform it into an exact duplicate of his penthouse in Monte Carlo. While Gabriel's vessel and voice is modeled after his likeness, Loki's voice is more gruff and his demeanor is more stern. ===Powers and Abilities===* Illusion work - Loki is able to transform the appearance of an entire room to satisfy his needs. He can also create a holographic duplicate of himself that can hit his enemies, while also remaining intangible. Dean calls this "Loki magic." * Super strength - Loki is easily able to overpower Gabriel in his weakened state.* Telekinesis - Loki is capable of flinging Gabriel across the hallway. ===Weaknesses===* Wood - Gabriel is able to kill Loki with a wooden sword.* [[Silver]] - Sam is able to destroy the duplicate of Loki by shooting it with a silver bullet.
