Based on the shadow it casts on the wall of a rectory, the Lamia is a humanoid monster. It is strong and has large claws that it uses to tear open the chest cavities of its victims. It then feeds on its victims' hearts. To kill a Lamia, it needs to be stabbed with a Silver knife that has been blessed by a priest. It can also be killed by covering it in a combination of rosemary and salt and then setting it on fire. They are usually only seen in Greece, but Dean and Sam hunt and kill one in Kenosha, Wisconsin.^{6.04 Weekend At Bobby's}
