History
Jolene is a nurse scheduled to assist in a cardiac surgery on Hilary, a young girl with a severe heart condition. When Dean, who is standing in for Death, refuses to kill the girl, her heart spontaneously heals and Jolene is sent home early. As a result of her early departure from the hospital, she is in a serious car accident. Paramedics return her to the hospital, where Dean is forced to kill her because of her mortal wounds.
