History

Jay is an unscrupulous real estate developer who had been forcing the ghost of a young boy to attack people in order to coerce them into selling their property to him at a extremely reduced price.

Seeing the giant dinosaur plushie destroyed on the floor of Alan's pawn shop, Jay retrieves the pocket knife tethering the ghost. Suspicious of Sam and Dean's intent to investigate further, he covertly slips the pocket knife into their newly-acquired TV as they are exiting the pawn shop.

Some time later, Jay has talked Alan into selling his property to him at a steal. Before Alan could sign the last signature on the paperwork, he is stopped by Sam, Dean, and Castiel, who reveal that Jay has been using a ghost to haunt and terrify people until sell their property to him at a greatly reduced price. Jay all but admits to what he has done, but tells everyone that no one would believe the story. Sam agrees, and tells him he hacked into his financials and reported his tax evasion to the authorities.

As Jay is being led away in handcuffs, he screams, "I would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling kids" before being placed into the back of the police car, much to Dean's delight.
