Irina enters the ballet studio late, after the other ballerinas have already finished their practice. They tease her, one commenting on how late she is. Irina is unaffected, telling them it's never too late to practice if you have the talent.
She gets ready, putting on her ballet slippers. After stretching and doing some exercises at the barre, Irina places her iPod on a speaker dock and begins to dance to Tchaikovsky's "Swan's Theme" from Swan Lake. All of a sudden, she begins to spin faster, then loses her balance and grabs the barre. She screams as she is flung backwards and begins to spin again. Irina spins faster and faster until finally she screams as blood splatters the walls. The janitor comes in to investigate and finds Irina's dead body with bloody stumps instead of feet. Her ballet shoes are arranged neatly on the floor in pristine condition.
It is later revealed that the ballet slippers were cursed and would mesmerise and compel a person to wear them, adjusting their size to fit any feet, and then dance them to death.
