At Asylum 2009, Jensen revealed that he had a dog called Icarus.
</blockquote> Jensen: She (Danneel) called me about two years ago I think I was out playing golf...and I get a phone call and she's like, 'I bought a puppy.' And I said, 'You're kidding, right?' She says, 'No, I couldn't stand it. They were there and I had to get one.' And I'm like, 'Why didn't you do a rescue one?' and she was like, 'Well, somebody needs to rescue them...Unfortunately they just cost money.' … Anyway, I was like, 'Well, what is it?' Cause I knew it would end up, you know...I was going to end up having to take care of the thing... and she says, 'it's a cockapoo.'
I said, 'What the hell is that? Please tell me it's like a big, giant, huge, manly dog.' 'No, no, it's half cocker spaniel and half poodle. And it's all white.' I'm like, 'How big do those get?' [imitating Danneel's voice] 'Oh, you know, 15 pounds.' So, needless to say, I was a little upset and turned off by it... but then when I got home and I saw this like … little stuffed animal I was like, 'eh, he's kind of cute.' And that was two years ago and so he's become my dog.
