Episodes

2.18 Hollywood Babylon

Hell Hazers II: The Reckoning is the name of the (fictional) movie whose set is being haunted during 2.18 Hollywood Babylon. During the episode, a trailer is shown for the movie.

The opening card includes the comment:

This film not yet rated. Also, not yet written, cast, shot, edited or scored.

And the tagline:

THEY NEVER FORGIVE
THEY NEVER FORGET
AND THIS SUMMER THEY'RE COMING BACK TO SETTLE THE SCORE...
...AGAIN

In the faux trailer for Hell Hazers II: The Reckoning, writer Martin Flagg is also credited as the writer of Cornfield Massacre and Monster Truck, which are illustrated with images from Supernatural episodes 1.11 Scarecrow and 1.13 Route 666. There's also a shot of the hook from 1.07 Hook Man, of Claire's desiccated hands from 2.07 The Usual Suspects, Gordon and his bloody knife from 2.03 Bloodlust and the inside of Angela's coffin from 2.04 Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things.

14.04 Mint Condition

A poster for the original Hell Hazers movie is seen in Smash! Pow! Comics. The poster also references Martin Flagg and Brad Redding from 2.18 Hollywood Babylon, along with other actual Supernatural crew including Jerry Wanek, Robert Leader, Kevin Parks, Warren Dunlop, Mary-Ann Liu, Meredith Glynn, Eugenie Ross-Leming, Robert Berens, Jim Michaels, and Phil Sgriccia.

When Dean is watching Shocker TV, a voice-over can be heard promoting Hell Hazers 3: It Lives Again which has the tagline: "It brought them back from Hell, again!"
