History

Harry is a self proclaimed "professional" paranormal investigator and co-runner of the website Hell Hound's Lair. Website co-runner and partner investigator is Ed Zeddmore. At the end of 1.17 Hell House they receive a phone call from Sam posing as a producer and decide to try their luck in Los Angeles.

When they meet up again with Sam and Dean by accident it is when they and their team of "Ghostfacers" enter Morton House on leap day with camera equipment to catch paranormal activity on film.

As of 4.17 It's a Terrible Life he's apparently still in the paranormal business, as Sam and Dean refer to the Ghostfacers website in that episode.

Harry also appears in the tie-in comic The Beast with Two Backs.

In 9.15 THINMAN its revealed that Harry had contemplated leaving the Ghostfacers for a normal life where he was married, but when Ed created the Thinman, he was sucked back in and it destroyed his relationship. Harry saved Ed by killing Deputy Tom Norwood, one of the two men who were pretending to be Thinman, but as a result of learning the deception, he quit the Ghostfacers (which was just him and Ed at that point) and left with Sam and Dean.
