2009

Supernatural was nominated for "Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular LGBT character)" for 3.13 Ghostfacers written by Ben Edlund, which features gay Ghostfacers intern Corbett, who is killed but still manages to destroy the vengeful spirit. It lost out to an episode of The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Supernatural was nominated for "Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular LGBT character)" for 5.09 The Real Ghostbusters by Eric Kripke and Nancy Weiner. In the episode Demian and Barnes, two gay LARPers in a relationship help defeat a vengeful spirit at a Supernatural Convention. It lost out to an episode of Parks and Recreation.
