History
Father Gregory was murdered on the steps of his church, Our Lady of the Angels. He believes he is an angel and directs people, whom he believes need redemption, to kill people he sees as evil.
While Sam thinks that maybe an angel is involved, Dean finds Father Gregory’s grave, is covered in wormwood which is associated with the restless spirits.
When Sam conducts a seance, Father Gregory is summoned, proving that he is not an angel. His old mentor Father Reynolds explains that he is dead, and administers the last rights, laying Father Gregory to rest.
