History

Ezra was an angel that claimed to have been hand picked by Metatron as a part of his ground forces on Earth.

At a bar Ezra approaches a group of angels, bragging about being hand picked by Metatron, and tells them about his plans to makeover Heaven for the chosen few. Later as he is leaving the bar he is jumped by a couple of angels and taken to Castiel's headquarters, where he is restrained and questioned. When Castiel is unable to gain any information from him, he calls on Sam and Dean to extract information. When Sam and Dean enter the interrogation room, Ezra remains defiant and fearless to any torture, claiming to be a "trained commando." The Winchesters decide to use a more psychological method to get information out of him, which ends up working on Ezra who tells them about Metatron's secret entrance to Heaven.

Sometime later, Ezra is found dead in the interrogation room, having been killed by Josiah.
