History

Emily is a young girl living with her aunt and uncle in Burkittsville, Indiana. She lost her parents in a car accident when she was thirteen. In the episode 1.11 Scarecrow her aunt, uncle and other locals offer Emily and Dean as sacrifices to the pagan god protecting their village. With the help of Sam they manage to escape and the scarecrow turns on Emily’s aunt and uncle instead. Having lost the last of her family, Emily helps the brothers destroy the god before taking off to Boston to start a new life.
