History
Dorothy's motorcycle is an Indian Junior Scout 600cc V2. It was built between 1937 and 1939, in this time only minor details were modified. From 1940 on the Junior Scout had skirted fenders like the rest of the Indian family, while Dorothy's still has open ones.
The price in 1937 was at $195, from 1938 at $215. It is notable that the bike has a foldout infant seat ahead of the saddle, probably meant for Toto. Despite the motorcycle being built between 1937 and 1939, Dorothy was imprisoned with the Wicked Witch of the West in late 1935.
