Croissookie
The croissookie is a decadent pastry dessert that is actually called a crookie (if you are looking for recipes or places to buy them, search "Crookies" instead of Dean's name for the treat). This new sweet treat is being called "the new cronut." A crookie is a cookie-croissant mix that is made by stuffing croissant dough with crushed Double Stuff Oreos and icing sugar, then baking it with half an Oreo placed on top. The dessert materializes into a delicious-looking cake, flaky and gooey all at once.
The crookie born in the ovens of Clafouti Patisserie et Cafe in Toronto, Canada (which is now permanently closed) by Olivier Jansen-Reynaud, the baker for the cafe. (Source)
The "croissookie" made an appearance in 10.13 Halt & Catch Fire", which premiered on February 10, 2015. The sweet treat even made an appearance on actor Jensen Ackles' Twitter (see tweet here).
