The croissookie is a decadent pastry dessert that is actually called a crookie (if you are looking for recipes or places to buy them, search "Crookies" instead of Dean's name for the treat). This new sweet treat is being called "the new cronut." A crookie is a cookie-croissant mix that is made by stuffing croissant dough with crushed Double Stuff Oreos and icing sugar, then baking it with half an Oreo placed on top.
