The Constellation Awards commenced in 2007 and are Canada' science fiction awards, focused on rewarding excellence in science fiction film and television.

In 2008, Supernatural won Best Overall 2007 Science Fiction Film or Television Script for 2.20 What Is and What Should Never Be written by Raelle Tucker. It was also nominated in the following categories:

  • Best Male Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode - Jared Padalecki.
  • Best Male Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode - Jensen Ackles.
  • Best Science Fiction Television Series of 2007.
