History

Cole Griffith was the first person to die before the miracles started happening in 4.15 Death Takes a Holiday. He stayed out in the cold too long and had a fatal asthma attack when he came back into the house. His reaper got kidnapped so he stuck around because he didn't want to leave his mother. Sam and Dean, desperate to learn some "ghost moves," asked Cole for help. He tells them where to find the demons at the funeral home and teaches them how to use their minds to move things, hitting things when they get mad, and teleporting. At the end of the episode, Cole, after hearing his choice of either staying on earth after his family died or going with Tessa, agrees to leave after some encouragement from Dean.
