About a year before this episodeIn 2004, [[Pete Sheridan]] stole heroin from the police lock-up, and used Claire to fence it. Claire had been arrested twice for dealing heroin, and Pete Sheridan knew her from when he worked in Narcotics. When Claire threatened to turn him in he killed her and hid her body at Ashland Supplies at 2911 Ashland Street. Claire was twenty eight 28 years old when she was killed.

She ==Episodes=====[[2.07 The Usual Suspects]]===Claire returns a year later as a type of [[ghost]], a [[death omen]], to warn other people Pete is going to kill. She tries to communicate and generates the letters "DANASHULPS " through printers, and computers. This Sam and Dean are able to realize that "DANASHULPS" is an anagram of Ashland Sup(plies), where she was killed.

When [[Detective Diana Ballard|Detective Ballard]] receives a warning from Claire during her interrogation of the Winchesters and eventually learns what Detective Sheridan did to Claire. When Sheridan is about to execute Dean Winchester, Ballard arrives and tries to stop him. In the ensuing fight Claire appears before Sheridan smiling right before Ballard retrieves her gun and kills Sheridanhim, allowing Claire is at to be laid to rest.
