Full name: Christian 'Chris' Kane
Born: June 27, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, grew up in Oklahoma.
Christian Kane is an actor and musician. He is a friend of Jensen Ackles.
Chris played in bands from an early age, and left a degree in Art History at the University of Oklahoma pursue his music in Los Angeles. A dayjob in a production company lead to an acting role in Fame L.A. in 1997. This led to other acting roles in both TV and movie. In 1999 he landed the role of evil lawyer Lindsay McDonald in Angel. Chris also appeared in The Plight Of Clownana which was co-produced by Jensen Ackles.
In 1998, with musician Steve Carlson he formed KANE, a country/rock band which has released two albums, and has had success both in L.A. and abroad.
In 2008, he took on the role of Eliot Spencer in the TV Show "Leverage", along with "Supernatural" alumni Aldis Hodge.
Chris continues performing as a musician, and his very long awaited album may appear in 2009. Since "Leverage" shoots in Portland, Oregon, he has performed there a number of times, often joined by Steve Carlson.
On June 9, 2009 Christian Kane and Steve Carlson played at Dante's in Portland, Oregon. Also in attendance were co-stars Tim Hutton, Aldis Hodge and Jensen and Danneel. Jensen joins the band on stage for a few songs, including "Happy Birthday".
