The fandom, cast, and crew have a tradition of coming together to do good works and raise money for charity. Many of the major projects are listed here. There have been thousands of projects started by fans to help SPNFamily members. While it is impossible to list them all, the sites which facilitate these fundraising activities are listed.

At Salute to Supernatural Chicago 2009, Jared auctioned a watch he'd worn as Sam Winchester to raise money for students from his mother's school to go to the University Interscholastic League, which Jared himself had attended as a student.
