Fandom has a tradition of coming together to do good works and here have been a number of fan projects centered around raising money for charity in the Supernatural fandom.

  • Eric Kripke donated his nominee prize from the 2009 People's Choice Awards, where Supernatural won for best Sci-fi show, to raise fund for Haiti.


Other professional Conventions also often raises money for charity. At All Hell Breaks Loose Sydney 2009 t-shirts decorated by Jared and Jensen sold for thousands of dollars to raise money for the Starlight Foundation. Read an article about one fan who bid paid over $1,200 for Jared's t-shirt.

At Salute to Supernatural Chicago 2009, Jared auctioned a watch he'd worn as Sam Winchester to raise money for students from his mother's school to go to the University Interscholastic League, which Jared himself had attended as a student.
