Case Fic refers to stories that center around the investigation of a supernatural occurrence, as is seen on the show. The stories may feature any chacrters, although most commonly it is Sam and Dean, and they may be Wincest, Gen or, very rarely, Het.
The Supernatural tie-in novels, are also examples of Case Fic.
