Let me paint you a picture. Of a world without monsters, or demons, or any of those little buggers that go bump in the night. Of a world where no one has to die because of the supernatural. Of a new world, a better world.

Mick Davies,

The British Men of Letters, are the still thriving British version of the long defunct US Men of Letters. They have been successful in eradicating monsters and preventing monster related deaths in Britain since 1965. They achieved this by planning ahead, studying the most arcane lore, and using it against their enemies. They have every bridge, dock and airport warded in the UK so that the moment a monster steps foot on Britain they know about it.

Lady Toni Bevell,

The British Men of Letters have been watching the Winchesters for some time, ever since they ‘almost ended the world the first time’. The Apocalypse in Season 5.

Some of the British Men of Letters wanted to get involved before now, to help out, but the ‘old men’ wouldn’t allow it as they thought it overstepping boundaries. The event that changed their minds was the Winchesters involvement with The Darkness.

Unfortunately, that first help came in the form of the apparently psychotic Lady Toni Bevell.
