For fans of the show that like looking for meta or Easter eggs, many have noticed a particular brown, orange, and cream colored braided rug that keeps popping up on the show. Some have associated the rug with Castiel and Gabriel, or other angels, Heaven, and religious themes. Other variations exist, like the red one seen in Bobby's Heaven in "Inside Man," and a more brown version.
One Tumblr user has come forward, saying their aunt was commissioned to make the rugs that were used for the show.
