History
Bobby's drives a 1968 Ford F-350, first seen in 1.22 Devil's Trap. The truck has a boom and winch installed so Bobby can tow cars back to the Singer Salvage Yard . It has Lawrence County, South Dakota plates: 9NO3L1. It was seen right by the Impala while Dean is repairing it in 2.02 Everybody Loves a Clown. When Bobby and Dean are looking for Sam in 2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part One, they get a call from Ash to meet at Harvelle's Roadhouse and they both get in the Impala, leaving the truck on the side of the road.
After season 2, the truck isn't seen again and Bobby is seen using a car and a handicap-accessible van instead. In 6.04 Weekend at Bobby's, the truck is seen again as Bobby and Rufus walk over to take a look at the body of the okami. The license plate can be seen on the winch.
Trivia
- The truck's licence plates are probably a reference to Jim Beaver's role in the HBO Western drama Deadwood. Deadwood is the county seat of Lawrence County.
