Big Name Fan

A Big Name Fan (accr. BNF) is a fan who has, through their significant contributions to fandom via fan works, charisma or wankery, developed their own fan following. BNF often is used pejoratively due to the often megalomaniacal and less-than-modest behavior of certain fans.

The size and diversity of the Supernatural fandom means BNFs tend to occur within sub-sections of fandom, rather than across the fandom as a whole.
