History

A vampire who is, based on the Harpsichord in his possession, many hundreds of years old. He controls a nest of vampires very tightly, cutting off their contact with the outside world, and they follow him with something close to worship as he believes he is a god. He uses the nest to run a vampirate operation, targeting rich sailing vessels for food and profit.

Around the 1960's, one of his nest – Benny Lafitte – fell in love with Andrea Kormos, one of the potential victims, and leaves the nest. The Maker tracked them to Louisiana along with Quentin and Sorento hunt them down. While his Maker tears out Andrea's throat, saying he will "bleed her dry", Sorento beheads Benny. The Maker changes his mind and turns Andrea into a vampire to remember Benny by. She remains part of his nest and his vampirate operation.

8.05 Blood Brother

When Dean and Benny find where Benny's maker has based his operation, Benny finds Andrea is now a vampire and is overpowered and captured.

While captured, Benny learns from Andrea that instead of killing her like Benny believed, his maker turned her into a vampire and she now serves him apparently faithfully. Andrea is so high up that she only reports to the Maker and she slaps him when he makes fun of her for it. However, when she orders the other vampires Sorento to leave, she kisses him and reveals she still loves him. Andrea tells Benny that neither she nor any of the other vampires can kill the Maker and free themselves from his influence, but Benny's return is proof that he is not all powerful and she gives him the key to his handcuffs and a knife with which to kill their maker.

Benny is brought before the Maker who claims regret that he had Benny executed and explains that he turned Andrea as a form of revenge against Benny. Benny reveals that Andrea is not loyal, showing his free hands and easily overpowers and decapitates Sorento with his own weapon when he attacks, using new moves he apparently learned in Purgatory. Benny's maker refuses to defend himself, wanting to die on his own terms and hating the world. Promising to show his maker a new world (Purgatory), Benny kills him with Andrea's knife and leaves the knife on the Harpsicord. The maker's operation is destroyed as Dean killed all of his nest while he and Benny were dealing with each other.
