Andy Gallagher and his twin brother Ansem Weems (Webber) were born to Holly Beckett (now deceased). She gave them up for adoption to different families, and they never met until they were adults. Andy's adopted mother (unnamed) was killed by The Demon on 12-30-1983. Andy currently resides in Guthrie, OK and owns (and apparently lives out of) a blue van "with a barbarian queen painted on the side."

Andy, like his twin, has the power of mind control. However, unlike his twin, he has apparently used this power only for minor personal gain and not to harm anyone.

Andy has previously had a relationship with Tracey, and there has been minor fandom speculation over his relationship with the woman who waves to him from a window when he is first introduced (no other reference was made to her in the episode).

In 2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part One, Andy is one of the kids bought to Cold Oak, South Dakota by the Yellow-Eyed Demon. Andy reveals he has developed his powers so he can beam images into people's minds, and does this to alert Dean to their whereabouts. He is killed by a demon summoned by Ava
