Quotes

Dean: Cas, you there? Sammy's hurt - he's hurt pretty bad. And I know that you think that I am pissed at you. But I don't care that the angels fell. So whatever you did, or didn't, do, we'll work it out. Please man, I need you here.
Truck Driver: How about a lift?
Castiel: Yes. I would fly, but I don't have any wings. not anymore.
Bobby: You gotta let go of fighting and scratching, and looking for loopholes. Because that ain't happening.

Sam: So... so what, I just die?

Bobby: Just die? All the good you've done, all the people you've saved, all the sacrifices you've made. You saved the world, son. How many people can say that? How many people can say that they have left this godforsaken hunk of dirt that much a better place? What you call dying, I call leaving a legacy.
Dean: Anybody ever tell you you hit like an angel?
Castiel: If you could do anything, what would it be?

Hael: There's a place. I built it when I was last here - many years ago. A grand canyon.

Castiel: The Grand Canyon.
Death: Well i must admit, when I heard it was you, well i had to come myself.

Sam: I bet you get off on this.

Death: Perhaps, but not in the way you assume. I consider it to be quite the honor to be collecting the likes of Sam Winchester. {pause} I try so hard not to pass judgement at times like this - not my bag you see - but you? Well played my boy.
Dean: Sam listen to me. I made you a promise, int hat church. You and me. Come whatever. Well, hell, if this ain't whatever. But you gotta let me in man. You gotta let me help. There ain't no mean if there ain't no you!
Sam: What to I do?
Sam: You've been driving around with me passed out in the passenger's seat for a day?
Dean: Oh, I mean, I stopped, you know, let a few Japanese tourists take some pictures. Nobody got too handsy.
Dean: I knew you'd pull through. I meant what I said in the church. You're capable of anything Sam. And hel;l if you didn't prove me right.
Sam: Good, because we've got work to do.

At the end of the episode Sam says "We've got work to do." This is a recurring quote throughout the series. At the end of the Pilot, there is a shot of Dean and Sam standing over the trunk of the Impala. As Sam tosses a weapon into he trunk he says "We've got work to do," and closes the trunk. At the end of 2.22 All Hell Breaks Loose: Part Two, the scene is replayed with the brother's positions reversed. Dean tosses the Colt into the trunk and says "We've got work to do." In 4.01 Lazarus Rising, when Dean asks Castiel why he was brought back, Castiel responds, "Because we have work for you." In 7.19 Of Grave Importance the line is used by Bobby to explain his presence as a ghost.
